Building on a family tradition of quality construction, Brian Cahill has completed over 170 distinctive residences in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In 1961 Brian’s father, John Cahill, founded Cahill Construction and began operating the company directly from his home in Pittstown, New Jersey. Touched by the effects of the Great Depression, John developed a strong work ethic at a young age and created a successful homebuilding company from the ground up, determined to achieve the American Dream for his wife and six children.

Brian fondly remembers a childhood filled with the smells, sights and sounds of construction. Fascinated by the workers who visited his home to meet with John, Brian used to beg his father to bring him along to active job sites. Each of Brian’s summer jobs revolved around construction, where he spent time working side by side with painters, carpenters, and various other tradesmen. When he graduated Drew University in 1983, he was eager to join his family’s company as a full-time partner.
